Through the Rain

This project was created back in December of 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. It was an assignment for a drawing class to create a drawing about what it felt like during the lockdown.

The original drawing represented keeping hope throughout the struggles of being stuck inside 24/7 with the background in cool tones and the woman in warm tones. When working on the remake, I changed the clothing to fit accurately to what it was like in the lockdown but still used yellow as hope. I also tried to keep the style of the light colors to fit the style of the watercolor I used in the original drawing.
